Exclusively remote working / leading event supplier – Your chance to join a core team of eleven event professionals operating virtually in various locations in Europe including London, Ireland and France, to support, consult and facilitate the client’s needs in terms of live captioning for a variety of live and virtual events!

The organisation provides live captioning to a wide audience from deaf and hard of hearing to corporate conferences, sporting events, arts & cultural events, and music festivals. They consistently lead and break new ground using and creating advanced technology to provide innovative solutions for live captioning across the globe.

They have a great reputation within the MICE space, and as a result the team currently work on fatalistic portfolio of clients, the majority of which are regular and repeat users. This unique event supplier, provides a full end-to-end management service for its clients, supporting them technically and logistically every step of the journey for their events large or small. Since the pandemic and the return of live events they are going from strength to strength. Due to continued growth they are now looking to expand the team to assist in working with some of the biggest brands from across the world such as Google, Barclay’s, Unilever, and The National Trust to name just a few! Events can range from sales conferences, awards dinners, sporting events, music festivals, BSL events, and medical & scientific content.

THE ROLE

This role will be holding accountability for full project delivery across a range of events and client sectors. The range of duties will include:

* Creating technical delivery plans with clear instructions for the client
* Quoting for bookings and managing budgets
* Operate as the primary point of contact for key account stakeholders
* Develop a trusted advisory relationship with accounts, customer stakeholders and internal partners
* Creating clear and easy to manage captioner schedules for each booking Maintain and ongoing communication with the client about their booking
* Adjusting the technical delivery plan and captioner schedule to accommodate changes and.
* Serve as the main “captioning” point of contact
* Develop professional, friendly, and lasting relationships with clients, captioners and other service providers
* Work closely with clients to make them aware of additional services that could be useful to them such as draft transcripts

THE CANDIDATE

To apply for this opportunity, you will need a solid base within events administration either in venue finding, delegate registration or broader events support. A huge advantage would be a strong working knowledge of the events platform Zoom / WebEx. You will be highly organised with a strong work ethic and experience working with events / Virtual events would be advantageous. Experienced in using office 365 (particularly email, SharePoint and Teams) in a business environment
