The Higher Education and International Vocational Qualifications and Training team is part of Pearson Workforce Skills – Performance Zone. About the job
As the Senior Operations Management Administrator, you will support our UK-based and international teams to ensure the effective and efficient governance and administration of our work. Working closely with colleagues across our markets, and within different divisions within Pearson, you will manage day-to-day administration and oversee our communications and governance processes.
Establish and organize team operations and administrative systems, standards and ‘best practice’ procedures
Capture and document existing and new business processes
Lead the implementation and smooth running of key governance workstreams, including scheduling meetings, preparing and distributing papers and minutes and associated action trackers
Plan and administer governance meetings attended by internal and external stakeholders
Create, maintain and monitor detailed project plans, including supporting financial plans
Facilitate the creation, maintenance and monitoring of detailed risks and issues logs
Create and distribute project progress reports
Support the organisation and planning of events attended by internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate HR recruitment and related processes and procedures, including staff induction and onboarding
Coordinate internal and external events, and internal communications
This is a hybrid role with a minimum number of days a month in the office space.
Organised, accurate and flexible, you will be able to tackle any challenge with enthusiasm and commitment and enjoy juggling multiple priorities to ensure success. A positive relationship builder, you can effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders to create trust and rapport. You are a proactive team player but feel equally confident working alone and are capable of learning quickly.
